So man's individual mind, tiny in itself, has creative power because it is one with, and a part of, the great river of Mind. If it were the insignificant trickle that it appears to be when thought of as an individual thing of a single person, it would have no more power than he, through his will power, could put into it. But our thought is a part of the great Creative Mind, and is taken up by that Mind. Here is where it derives its power.
This is why we say that in real mental and spiritual healing we do not depend upon will power. The strongest will power of the strongest person is nothing as compared to the resistless flow of Infinite Mind.
This, then, is the Power with which we work when we treat for ourselves or others, and the more clearly we grasp this great truth, the more complete will be the degree of perfection produced through our treatments.

Treatment
THERE is only one Mind, so my mind is a function in that one Mind. God’s Mind expresses intelligence, love and perfect right action. These activities are now in me and are now working through me. I let these spiritual ideas have full control of my thinking and my feeling today. I set aside all my personal opinions based upon the questionable appearances of evil. Divine intelligence in me guides me to right and loving decisions. God’s love in me causes me to speak well of my fellowman. God’s life in me maintains me in perfect health. These are statements of truth and I accept them. There is nothing in me to oppose them, for God is in control of my thinking today.
